I imagine it would get pretty uncomfortably hot in that sphere.
I think ti was much more comfortable un mom’s tummy… Nothing can any reminiscence here !
have you seen the seam line in the center. They haven’t solved the interesting manufacturing issue.
I’m interested in this for my autistic son. Quite often he is overwhelmed with too many sounds. It is fairly soundproof? Where can I buy this? How much does it cost?

I too have an auty kid. Short for autistic.anyway I’d like to purchase to because he loves the rain. It would b so special for him and I too sit together.
Did you find out anything about where you can buy it?

Is their à screen or holes for airflow?
It’s a “Plastic ball”. Wow.. Where do these geniuses come up with this stuff(sarcasm). Someone made these for hamsters many years ago. Get you a water proof tent, open the flap to see out and wala, same thing but with more room. Some people simply amaze me on how they can waste time on things like this, but can’t put it to good use like helping others that really need it. But instead using it to make over sized hamster exercise ball. Keep up the good work, lol
Have you seen the comments? The number of people who love this idea? It is sad that instead of making your dreams a reality you are using your energy to criticize those that do! This invention may seem silly to you, but it brings someone else joy. Isn’t the point of life to enjoy it? If we all like the same things, believed the same things, ate the same things, etc., it would be pretty boring. Pursue YOUR dreams your way and be happy for others that do the same!
@ Heather … sarcastically calling someone a genius in the same comment as misspelling the word “voila”. Priceless.
can I buy one? Where and how much?
Dammit, where’s the Like button?
How much and where can I buy it
guys who are asking about price and a like button, at the top there is a hyperlink. the blue word cocoon 1. takes you to a place to buy it and a like button. says estimated £3000, fall 2013.
someone said it looked uncomfortable. you realise you don’t have to just use the cushions it comes with? you can put beanbag chairs in it or whatever.
What I do like is the concept. Where I live it rains a lot, so I would use this as a place to just relax and read a book dry, while at the same time beeing outdoor and listen to the rain hitting the bubble. What I don’t like is the price. I would want this one in a really simple configuration, and would be interested for half the price.
Cat Rock says:
Everyone keeps suggesting putting me in a bubble since I’m so accident prone. This would be ideal.

Would be concerned it would be stuffy and loud if you tried to use it to read in the rain.
It wasn’t just a movie. There was a real “boy in a bubble”. Poor kid died at 12 years old.
Rachel R. says:
I think it’s a pretty amazing idea for outdoors in rainy weather. It’d keep you dry, but not block the view or the light. There’s a big difference between the view available through a small tent flap and a 180-degree view.
(I don’t understand the appeal as a general-purpose piece of indoor furniture, though.)

I may as well check things out. I like what I see so now
i’m following you. Look forward to looking into your web
There is an open round hole in the center of the side. I thought it would get hot too, but air can go through it at the side. You have to look hard to see it. It would be wonderful for autistic kids! Apart from the crowd, yet still able to see what’s going on. Making it easier to make the choice to join or not.
Heather, you are not a nice person.
Heather you’re a genius (sarcasm)! You so couldn’t wait to tear someone down that you didn’t take the time to read what others thought of the product. Families with autistic members instantly recognized the value of the bubble to their loved ones. People who value solitude would embrace it. I think it’s really cool. Yes, genius. It’s inventor probably doesn’t spend his time finding ways to criticize those who achieve. They accomplish. Try it, you’ll feel better about yourself!
I saw something similar in a Star Wars movie, I think it was the 3rd. Darth Vader was meditating in one (not so opaque) and at the same time felt so secure that he removed the helmet. Go Vader and buy one !
